Tamica Gant is a dedicated registered nurse, dynamic entrepreneur, and the visionary Founder and CEO of Abundance Health, LLC
A Black woman-owned nursing company committed to delivering compassionate, community-centered healthcare. With over a decade of hands-on medical experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University, Tamica has combined clinical excellence with innovation to improve health outcomes and bridge care disparities.
Tamica began her nursing career in gerontology and medical-surgical care, quickly earning a reputation for her exceptional patient advocacy and leadership. Inspired by personal experiences caring for her grandmother at home, Tamica recognized the urgent need for accessible, high-quality in-home nursing services. This passion led her to establish Abundance Health, LLC in 2020, to reshape how nursing care is delivered and support patients’ right to heal in the comfort of their homes.
Under her leadership
- First nursing company contracted by the Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF)
- First African American-owned nursing company contracted with the City of Seattle to perform Skin Observation Protocols
- Recipient of a grant from King County to address racism as a public health crisis
- Recognition from King County for addressing racism as a public health crisis.
- Serves as the Health Ministry Leader at Eastside Assembly of Believers, where she leads & Abundance Health partners with the Health & Wellness Ministry, a faith-based initiative empowering the congregation and community with tools, resources, and education to live healthier lives.
These accomplishments have strengthened Abundance Health’s impact in serving underserved BIPOC communities, reducing healthcare disparities, and promoting equity through evidence-based care.
Abundance Health, LLC specializes in registered nurse delegation and private duty nursing services, caring for medically complex patients, including those on ventilators, with tracheostomies, receiving IV therapies, and managing chronic conditions. The company also provides caregiver training to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
Additionally, Abundance Health leads the annual BIPOC Health & Wellness Fair, a vital initiative that empowers communities with tools, education, and resources to live healthier lives.
Tamica is a proud member of Leaders in Women’s Health, where she continues to advocate for diversity and equity in healthcare leadership.
Beyond her professional work, Tamica enjoys giving back through volunteer nursing, journaling, and traveling with her family. She remains deeply committed to expanding access to culturally competent care and to supporting individuals in thriving in wellness and abundance.
